:pointr: DEVIANTS whew, back from a week long college tour trip from mid through southern california. its really good to be home. i came back to some welcome stuff- kick ass dC pack glad to see the good is back, and 102 dA pieces to look through heh.  so im gonna do some catch up with dA and the like. expect some solo and collabs pretty soon as well as a flash game im working on. toodles~

:pointr: STUFF i realize smashmethod (https://www.deviantart.com/smashmethod) did a great service to dA by generously submitting a load of quality renders but the number of pieces made them with is getting obnoxious (reminiscent of when the first glass bryce render tut came out). when you use a resource (any resource) on dA first of all, it is not a collab. smash did not talk to you and decide you should work on one of his renders. second of all, they should be used liberally and not presented w/o much change. around half of his renders (i have all 3 packs) come with brushing already in it which everyone who uses them neglects to mention. many ppl are getting a lot of attentio
